Far too many people are wary of genetic medications.  Because they are more affordable and because, presumably, they are called “generic,” a lot of consumers just assume that they are not as good as the name brand medications.  Indeed, it often seems that people mistake generic medications for placebos, which generally do not contain anything at all.

This goes double for generic Viagra, although that is somewhat understandable.  After all, Viagra is designed to combat erectile dysfunction.  That is a very serious problem and it should never be taken lightly.

Trust, however, that generic Viagra is exactly the same as the name brand, in everything but name.  You see, all the key components and ingredients contained in Viagra can also be found in the generic forms.  The generic medications undergo the same quality control and lab tests that Viagra itself goes through before it is marketed.

The only reason generic medications are cheaper than the “regular” meds are because their manufacturers do not have to spend scads and scads of money on experiments, tests, or advertising.  They know the medication works.  The people buying know it works, because it is exactly the same as the brand name.

So don’t be afraid of generic Viagra — or the generic forms of any other medication, either.  They do the exact same thing.  They will be just as effective.  Better still, they will cost you far less money in the bargain, so really — what do you have to lose?
